This workshop offers a brief overview of tips and information for both new and experienced supervisors aiming to guide thesis projects efficiently and productively. In addition to a model example of efficient thesis supervision, supervision types will be discussed. Participants – especially those new to the role – will gain insights into their rights and responsibilities as outlined in the statutes of TU Graz. Further topics include motivation and how to deliver constructive, actionable feedback. Case studies will be used to highlight common challenges in thesis supervision and to discuss possible practical applications. Of course, there will also be the opportunity to address questions.
This workshop is a co-operation between the TU Graz Library and the Staff Unit Quality Management, Evaluation & Reporting.
